The project will be focused on the discovery of new enzymes from vegetable source and their expression in heterologous host.

The enzymes will be expressed, purified and immobilised on different support for biocatalysis purpose.



PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Proposal Outline:

Each SME will focus on specific enzymatic activities.

  • RTD1 will isolate isolate the target enzymes from vegetable source and express them on lab scale.
  • RTD2 and SMEs will test the new enzymes on industrial substrates and perform scale up
  • SME1 will immobilize the enzymes.
