MSES (Ministry of Science, Education and Sports) has formed HIT as agency for support and guding the developmental and technological research of the academic community. It monitors and forecasts global techological trends; advices and provides support on questions of intellectual property ownership and the transfer of technology; provides support for and encourages participation in European Research and development projects; and at the international level, promotes Croatian technological production and research and development potential. The Institute provides the required knowledge and mechanism realizing sophisticated, complex technological projects of global significance. Through a series of measures, initiatives and programs it encourages, finances and monitors innovative contributions to the development of technology that improves workflow and create and enrich sustainable process.
