GIS-TransferCenter working under franchising contract with Steinbeis Foundation – Stuttgart, Germany since April 2003, is a member of the Steinbeis technology transfer network comprising more than 600 Transfer Centers in 55 countries in the world.
GIS-Transfer Center Foundation has performed several projects for technology transfer of competitive research products, as well as providing consultants and experts. It is good to mention the web-based technology market developed to improve the connection between industry and science for the technology transfer.
5 projects are under development, related with stimulation of technology-oriented start-ups in Europe, increase of the competitiveness of SMEs through technology transfer, platform for cross sector cooperation and virtual clustering and establishment of technology transfer offices and regional investment office.
There are 9 people permanent staff, which besides administrative and management functions they are delivering consultant and research services, too.
Project based staff comprises more than 40 experts covering different technology areas.
